Montpelier make-up race
We had our make-up race from the June 4th rain out and it was pretty exciting.
Tommy started on the front row on the outside, the guy on the pole ran him high going into the first turn, so Tommy had to fall in behind in 2nd place.
He followed him for 10-laps then they got into traffic and that’s where it got exciting. The leader fell in behind 4 lapped cars, but Tommy took the outside and passed all 5 cars to take over the lead and win the $600 feature!
The actual race for that evening put us in 2nd for the heat and then guess what? Yep, it rained and we didn’t race the feature that night!
